Make This Your Best Lent Ever!

We all know the things that make us happy, but we don’t always do them. Lent is an opportunity to change that. This year we invite you to do something different.

This Lenten season we will be using the book “Resisting Happiness” by Matthew Kelly that we received at Christmas*. We will read, study and share together.

 Please Join Us

We have prepared materials into 6 weekly study guides. Study guides will be published in the bulletin each week during lent for you to use.

The weekly schedule will be:

  • March 5 - 11: 1st week of Lent Chapters 1 through 6
  • March 12 – 18: 2nd week of Lent Chapters 7 through 13
  • March 19 – 25: 3rd week of Lent Chapters 14 through 22
  • March 26 – April 1: 4th week of Lent Chapters 23 through 28
  • April 2 – 8: 5th week of Lent Chapters 29 through 37
  • April 9 – 15: 6th week of Lent Best-Version-of-Yourself-Planning

For those who choose to join one of the groups that will meet at church, there will be a facilitator who will assist in guiding the discussions.

If you can’t make it to the same day/time each the week, you can just go to another group that week that fits your schedule.

Our state faces real challenges. Assisted suicide threatens the vulnerable. Underprivileged kids are stuck in failing schools. And too many families are trapped in poverty.

Christ asks us to boldly step into the public square to protect life and human dignity. Will you answer the call?

Join Minnesota’s bishops, dynamic Church leaders, and 1,000+ Catholics from across the state for Catholics at the Capitol, a day of inspiration and advocacy at our State Capitol.

  • Be INSPIRED by dynamic Church leaders and the power of prayer
  • Be INFORMED about the critical issues impacting life and human dignity in Minnesota
  • Be EQUIPPED to effectively engage your elected officials

Legislators pay attention to their constituents. We WILL influence what they do.
